Knife Steel Nerds at Blade Show Atlanta

Blade Show is almost here! The biggest knife show in the world is always a good time, and I will be there again. You should be aware of a few things at the show if you are a Knife Steel Nerd.

Blade U Damascus Class:

One is that my father (Devin Thomas) and I will teach a Blade U class “Exploring the Performance of Pattern-Welded Damascus” on Friday, June 2nd, from 10-11 am. We have been doing a ton of tests on Damascus which have never been shown before. I have a preview of some of these results exclusively for Knife Steel Nerds Patreon supporters if you click that link and sign up to support our research. Damascus testing is expensive! Here is a link to buy tickets for the class: https://bladeshow.com/buy-tickets/

Book Signing

To celebrate the release of my new book The Story of Knife Steel, I will be doing a signing on Saturday, June 3rd at 1 pm at the Pops Knife Supply booth 1044. You can of course also have me sign Knife Engineering. Pops will have limited copies for sale, but bringing your own copy will ensure you have one to be signed. Let’s get an impressive-looking crowd to draw everyone in to the exciting world of knife steel history.

I kinda stole the whole thing, because it didn’t break up well. But you can visit Larrin’s site here.
