CRKT is obviously proud of winning the Best Buy Award at this year’s Blade Show. I took these pictures myself on Sunday, and before I had a chance to post they had already put out an email blast.
They describe the CEO thusly:
7096 – CEO – Designed by Richard Rogers in Magdalena, New Mexico
A knife that’s dressed for success.
At first glance, it could be mistaken for a pen tucked into a shirt pocket. And that’s exactly the way the CEO folding knife was designed. With a supremely low profile and no corners cut on usability and ergonomics, it embodies the working spirit of everyday carry.
Extremely low profile and lightweight; comfortable to carry in front shirt pocket
Recessed thumb stud with IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system deploys the blade smooth and fast
Durable glass reinforced nylon handles are lightweight with excellent grip
It is a classy looking knife for sure. Robust enough to be used as an impromptu steak knife or to help get you out of a jam requiring a knife, yet isn’t overly threatening, looking downright classy in fact. I handled it at the show and while I find the flipper a tad small, given the knife’s purpose I understand the choice.
